Frequently Asked Questions

Once the free pilot is completed, what is your business model afterwards?

After the free pricing analytics pilot, roughly 80-85% of accounts operate on an extremely affordable monthly subscription plan. Other companies engage PricingAudit occasionally for one-off projects at either a fixed project cost or a standard hourly billing rate.

What data is typically required to complete the free analytics pilot?

Nearly every company has an existing invoice register or basic sales and margin report we can typically work from to eliminate the need for any custom data pulls. We also have a template we can share with key fields we frequently receive from clients for analysis.

What makes your program better than other offerings in the market?

PricingAudit was designed to be cheaper, faster, and better than any existing pricing analytics module on the market. The companies who have turned to PricingAudit after having used nearly every major offering in the market today would tell you the level of clarity they get into their pricing landscape, and the ease of use in analyzing an entire business at once is incredibly convenient with PricingAudit.

What do your services cost for a typical company of my size?

Client pricing varies based on the sheer amount of data, data cleanliness, and number of custom features or add-ons requested. We have never had a problem coming to terms on pricing with a client who enjoyed the pilot and wanted to continue the service.

What other services do you offer in addition to pricing analytics?

Clients who love our analytics often ask us to expand our work to other areas. We’ve helped dozens of clients with price increase implementation support, SKU rationalization exercises, product costing & supply chain analysis, M&A due diligence & integration support, and much more.

What is your ownership structure & what other firms have you partnered with?

PricingAudit is 100% privately owned with no banks, outside directors, or investors to please each quarter - just our client base. In the past we have partnered with some of the world’s largest consulting firms and project management organizations to create value for clients. Our egos are small and our desire to please customers is large, so we play exceedingly well with others.

What does a typical contract look like (timing, commitment, etc)?

Most clients sign a basic one page annual Statement of Work that includes a flat monthly rate with the option of acquiring additional support as needed. We know everyone has different timetables and needs though, and can be incredibly accommodating.

What type(s) of companies best fit your pricing analytics model?

Any company that sells a generally repetitive set of SKUs to a generally repetitive set of customers would be a great fit. A company producing a special material for one customer that will only be order one time would not be ideal. Most B2B industrial or distribution business do very well.

What type of ROI should I expect and how quickly will we see benefits?

More than one client has seen 600+ basis point increases in margins after implementing the program. Performance will vary based on top-down executive support for program launch and securing organizational buy-in, but with our modest fees most client ROIs are literally in the 1000+% ROI range within a few weeks of working together.
